Defacenition (project codename) was to be the app that would tell the user what his face traits translate into in other person’s perceptions through the art of Face Reading. Through a photograph, the app would make the measurements to assign a stat of the property measured, which would reveal to the users what their face represents in visual interpretation to other people.

The app would work on any form-factor with a camera – i.e. computer, smartphone, tablet, wearables – since the face matrix can be recognized on any of these devices camera’s, as long as the resolution good enough.

After the photograph, the user would get access to his basic stats. For the user to unlock the next level of stats, basic data would need to be input: name, date of birth, location.

With this small data input, users would be able to see their complete stats. At this stage they would be prompted if they would like to see how their friends stack against them: this would demand a Facebook connection.

With Facebook, users could now select a friend (that has already signed into the app as well) to directly compare the basic stats of each.

The advanced stats comparison with friends and strangers would come with the last stage: Premium version, which would have to be purchased.

The project was the company’s last design and was not released.
